The 5th generation of 120 mm Japanese models have 20x magnification with 22.5 degree inclined eyepieces using a very large Porro II prism system with a 22.5 degree exit face. Rhomboid prisms are used to adjust IPD, and in the particular instrument examined, only the left-hand rhomboid assembly is adjustable.
