The Japanese 20 x 100 mm model is a straight-through instrument that is fundamentally a scaled-up version of the 15x80. The objectives are air-spaced achromats and the prism system is a Porro II design. The eyepiece is an Erfle variation with a real field of 3 degrees and an apparent field of 60 degrees.
